Completion Date: Summer 2006
Architect: Yee Wing Yiu, H & S International
Applicator: Division Nine Contracting, Inc.
Description: The real challenge on this project was to apply a 3-coat NHL plaster with temperatures exceeding 100° F. Working early in the morning, and taking extra precautions to reduce water evaporation, was the only way to apply lime plaster in these extreme conditions. Lime plaster's natural "old world" beauty and texture blends ideally with Arizona desert architecture and earthen styles. NHL 3.5 was used for the scratch and brown coats, while Ecomortar F is finish coat.
